During welding in mechanical material in the
industry, a film is taken out to test their quality, which has no effect in it;
there are no air bubbles or no hole. A test is done which is called Radiography
Test (RT).
Safety officer has a lot of responsibilities during
radiography test.
1. RT Location- the area where the
radiography test is to be done should be freed from the workers &
employees. The area where the radiography test is being done should be
appropriately barricaded through caution tape and a warning sign should also be
places there.
2. Information
& Awareness :- we should inform our workers and employees about the radiography test,
they should make them aware of what the radiography test is and what are the
hazard, we should give them in the meeting or in a different way.
3. Proper Training :-
employees should be properly trained on how their activities should work safely
during the radiography test.
1. Damage of
human cells :- if a person comes in contact with him during the radiography test, then
the person’s cell which we call organs are destroyed, them during the
radiography test we also get this type of problem .
2. Loss of
Hair :- if
a person comes in contact with the radiation coming out of the radiography
test, then the chances of hair loss in him increase and sometimes all his hair
also falls.
3. Skin burn :– during radiography
test, if a person comes in contact with radiation in a large amount, then there
is a problem of skin burns. It has the possibilities of external burn problem
and internal burn problem.
4. Chances of
cancer :-
people who come in contact with radiation repeatedly and who do not take
appropriate precautions. They have more chances of getting cancer.
