There are some important points through which road work can be done safely. Planning- the first thing that is our points is that planning means to say that what work we are going to do is small or big. How many workers are we going to need workers in that work, how many machines are going to be required and what are the risks in whatever we are going to work, what precautions can be taken to remove them, it is very important to plan in advance for all these things. Traffic Condition- if our road work is going on at a place where vehicles are coming. So such an environment or such planning should be done at that place that our road work should continue and the vehicles that are going and going are not interrupted. Create a separate work area- the area where our road work is going on should be converted into a separate zone. And as many of our equipment as heavy machines that are being used, they should remain inside the separate zone. Wear a safety equipment’s- all the employees and workers working in road work should use the right safety PPEs according to their work, this is the first responsibility of a safety officer. Aware to our surrounding area- every employee should know about the status of all our works being done during road work safety.in this, everyone should know what the work is and what can be the accounts and what precaution should be taken for them. Competent person available should be on site- during the road work, our trained person who is from the beginning to the end of the work, it is mandatory for them to stay there. Safety Meeting in everyday- safety meetings are the primary responsibility of the safety officer before the start of work to further promote safety during road work. Safety programme- during the road work, safety programs should be conducted from time to time to make the employees aware of safety.
